The Professionals At Premier Are Here To Help
Coronavirus can survive on surfaces for up to 2 to 3 days and people infected by the virus don’t show symptoms until approximately two weeks after infection, making it difficult to track and contain. This is why having a trusted professional cleaning and restoration company on your side is so important.
Premier Cleaning and Restoration adheres to all OSHA regulations, is certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC) and strictly follows CDC procedures when it comes to disease cleanup and disinfection. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is still novel, so our team continually consults with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for up-to-date solutions and utilize CDC approved and EPA registered disinfectants.
What does Premier recommend I do to keep my home or business clean & safe?
Cleaning any visibly dirty surfaces is one easy step that you can take, and that is also a recommendation of the CDC. Providing a cleaner, safer, and healthier living and working space has always been our mission at Premier. Click here to read what else the CDC recommends for cleaning and disinfection for households.
What does Premier recommend I do to keep my home or business safe?
First and foremost, we urge you to follow the recommendations of the CDC, which includes the following, “Practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (for example: tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks) with household cleaners and EPA-registered disinfectants that are appropriate for the surface, following label instructions.”
Specifically for carpet, the CDC recommends that “For soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, upholstery and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces. After cleaning, use products with the EPA-approved emerging viral pathogen claims that are suitable for porous surfaces.”
Does the CDC give advice about cleaning carpet?
The CDC specifically recommends the following process for cleaning carpets, “For soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, upholstery and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces. After cleaning – use products with the EPA-approved emerging viral pathogen claims that are suitable for porous surfaces.” At Premier, we use only state-of-the-art equipment and employ only trained professionals. And we guarantee our service for each and every customer: your carpets and fabrics will be thoroughly cleaned every time.
Can Premier disinfect my home or business?
Premier will help with the first two steps that the CDC recommends, which is the following:
- STEP ONE: CLEANING. The CDC states: “Cleaning refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.”
- STEP TWO: DISINFECTING. The CDC states: “Disinfecting refers to using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.”
Below is a list of services Premier offers to help with cleaning and disinfecting steps recommended by the CDC:
- Hepa Vacuum all horizontal surfaces.
- Wipe down all horizontal surfaces with a disinfectant.
- Conduct a 2-step cleaning process of all highly used surfaces that includes wiping down computers, keyboards, phones etc., allowing surfaces to dry, and repeating the process a second time.
- Clean all flooring & upholstery
- Use a ULV Fogger to mist all vertical surfaces with a disinfectant.
- Place an Air Scrubber in each space, as needed.
